We are Texas natives through and through — raised on wide-open spaces, good people, and the belief that food and community belong at the same table. What brought us to Fort Davis is something harder to put into words than it is to feel the moment you arrive: the mountains, the silence, the sky. An untouched beauty that most Texans don't even know exists.
The Waypoint was born from a simple conviction — this community deserves a place that genuinely serves it. One that supports the ranchers working this land, welcomes the travelers discovering it for the first time, and gives neighbors a reason to gather. We like to say Fort Davis is the last good place in Texas, and we mean it as the highest compliment.
