The Waypoint

Finding direction through healthy living.

Our Philosophy

Every journey needs a waypoint.

A place to pause, to refuel, to find your direction. The Waypoint is a way of living rooted in real food, quiet intention, and the wide-open stillness of West Texas — a curated shop, a kitchen of freshly prepared fare, a table to gather around, and an honest journal of the road.

What We Believe

Food is more than fuel. It is connection — to the land, to the maker, and to one another.

Our Why

Somewhere along the way, food became a commodity — fast, processed, and far from its source. We believe living well begins with reclaiming that connection: eating real food, knowing where it comes from, and slowing down enough to savor it.

Our How

We partner with Texas ranchers, farmers, and makers, and choose every piece by hand. Nothing here is by accident — only what is nourishing, honest, and something we would set on our own table.

"To be a true waypoint for this community — a place to pause, refuel, and find direction in how we eat and live."

Gatherings

The Table

Our gatherings bring the community around one table for a seasonal, whole-food supper — and an evening of health and wellness education. Hear from the ranchers and farmers who raise our food, and leave with a deeper understanding of eating and living well.

The Founder

Texas Roots,
West Texas Heart

I am a Texas native with a master's degree in Nutrition Science, and my path to wellness was not a trend I followed — it was years of formal study into how profoundly food shapes the way we feel, think, and age. The more I understood about where our food comes from and what has been added to it along the way, the clearer the answer became: real, whole ingredients, raised with integrity, close to home.

The Waypoint is the culmination of that work. It is built on a simple conviction — that health begins at the source, with nutrient-dense food, clean products, and an honest relationship with the people who produce them. My hope is that it serves this community as a trusted resource: a place to ask questions, keep learning, and find your own waypoint.
